Hayward Aqua Rite with TurboCell T-Cell-15, Saltwater Chlorinator for up to 40,000 gallons (T15)

A common sight on newly-built backyard swimming pools, the Hayward Aqua Rite electronic chlorine generator is a convenient alternative to traditional chlorination. My experience with these Aquaritexsystem is that they break often and cost and arm and leg to repair. The electronic board (PCB) has a thermistor that burnout very frequently and although this part cost less than 10$ most technician will replace the board for more than $300 rather than just the thermistor. Also my control display panel needed to be replace all of this in less than 3 years

Hayward Aqua-Rite 40000 gallon generator

Met all my expectations though I do have to run the system at 100% output in warm weather and its only a 22000 gallon pool. Glad I didn't get the 25000 gallon model. Its still better than my old Polaris, I like the diagnostic features

make my pool nearly maintenance free

AFter about three months the pools been nearly maintenance free. I use to have to add a few gallons of chlorine once a week. Algae would grow then I would have to shock the pool. The chorine would be high and smell bad, then the chlorine would be low and smell like a swamp. Now it stays steady at 3 ppm, great system!

working great but why no power cord

working great by why no power cord? at first i thought i got a refurbished unit but then they explained to me they just don't come with a power cord, that added a couple hours and some confusion at the hardware store to get this installed. like i said though, working great now

Aqua Rite

Running about a month and it looks good at this point. Still learning how to adjust it and read the screen. Seems to be doing what it said it would. Installation would have been easier if the manual was a little clearer
